Timberwolves 11-5 Since Towns' Injury
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (March 12, 2024) - The Minnesota Timberwolves announced today that Karl-Anthony Towns has returned to the team after missing 18 games with a lateral meniscus tear. The Athletics Shams first reported the injury on March 7.
The Timberwolves have gone 11-5 since Towns' injury, including a 113-106 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in his return on Friday night.
Towns is averaging 24.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game this season. He is a three-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Second Team in 2018.
